System Requirements

These requirements apply to learners and clients accessing BCBA Teacher services through Thinkific, Zoom, and related website tools. Users are responsible for ensuring their device, browser, internet connection, and available storage space support course access, meetings, and file transfers.

General Requirements

·         A current desktop computer, laptop, tablet, or mobile device capable of running supported software and browsers.

·         A stable internet connection strong enough for course access, video calls, file uploads, and file downloads.

·         Enough available storage space on your device for downloaded files, saved documents, course materials, Zoom installation, and local recordings where applicable.

·         Access to a modern web browser with cookies, JavaScript, and PDF viewing enabled.

Thinkific Requirements

·         Broadband internet connection with a minimum speed of 5 Mbps.

·         A current supported browser with JavaScript enabled and TLS 1.2 support.

·         PDF viewing capability for course handouts or downloadable documents.

·         Upload limits may apply, including up to 2 GB per video file, up to 25 MB for PDF files, up to 4 MB for most site images, and up to 10 MB for images uploaded in text lessons.

Zoom Requirements

·         A device that meets Zoom’s supported operating system requirements.

·         Recommended bandwidth varies by video quality. Zoom lists about 600 kbps up and down for high-quality 1:1 video, about 1.2 Mbps up and down for 720p 1:1 video, and about 3.8 Mbps up and 3.0 Mbps down for 1080p 1:1 video.

·         Enough device storage for the Zoom app, updates, temporary files, local recordings, and saved chat files where used.

·         A functioning camera, microphone, and speakers or headset for live supervision, consultation, or training sessions.

Uploads, Downloads, and Storage

·         You are responsible for having enough free space on your device before downloading course files, worksheets, videos, forms, or recorded materials.

·         Insufficient storage space may prevent successful downloads, software installation, updates, local Zoom recordings, or saving submitted work.

·         Large files may take longer to upload or download depending on your internet speed and device performance.

·         BCBA Teacher is not responsible for failed uploads, failed downloads, corrupted local files, or missed access caused by low storage, unsupported software, or weak internet service.

Supported Use

·         Keep your browser, operating system, Zoom app, and other required software updated.

·         Test your device, audio, and internet before scheduled meetings or live training.

·         Use reliable file formats when submitting assignments or documents if file uploads are part of your service or training access.
