Amanda is a Board-Certified Behaviour Analyst with over 20 years of experience in Inclusive (Special) Education across public and private sectors. Her journey has taken her from group homes and outreach programs to district leadership roles supporting inclusive practices in K–12 schools. Amanda began my career teaching high school math and science before moving into positions such as Inclusive Support Coordinator and Indigenous Outreach Teacher. Amanda is a trained PBIS coach with a PhD on improving attendance in a high school using tiered systems of support. Amanda continues to teach at Vancouver Island University and serves as the Associate Director of Learning with independent schools across British Columbia, Canada.
